Adding colour effects to a photo – 3rd post

Today we paid another visit to the National Trust property Shugborough. Amongst the photos I took was one view that I thought was worth experimenting with vintage colour variations. These were taken by the River Sow near Essex Bridge. Here are the results:

This is the original image with ‘as shot’ colour
This version has a slight ‘whitewash’ effect
This is a first vintage colour effect – almost autumnal
This is a sepia version
A second vintage colour effect
A third vintage colour effect
This is what I call a ‘Copper Wash’

As I said before, some of the effects work better than others, and that they are a matter of taste – not everyone would like these…
