North Wales Gardens and Views

Last month we had a short holiday in North Wales. We were lucky with the weather in that it wasn’t raining – but the winds were quite strong. Most of the places we visited were National Trust properties and gardens. Here is a selection of photos taken on the trip:

Bodnant NT Garden: View through the garden to the house
Bodnant NT Garden: Panoramic view of a spreading tree
Bodnant NT Garden: Pin Mill panoramic view
Bodnant NT Garden: ‘The Poem’ (building) and Waterfall bridge
Parc Glynllifon: Amphitheatre from the ‘stage’
Parc Glynllifon: Amphitheatre from the ‘seating’
Plas Yn Rhiw garden NT: View across the garden
Plas Yn Rhiw garden NT: View from the garden of the bay
Penrhn Castle Gardens NT: Old oak tree in the parkland
Penrhn Castle Gardens NT: View within the gardens

Overall, this was a pleasant trip – all the gardens were worth visiting and the National Trust tea rooms and facilities were up the the usual high standards of the Trust. It would be interesting to visit them again at a different time of the year.
