Laskett Garden: Now in the care of the charity Perennial.
This is a well regarded garden originally created by Sir Roy Strong and his wife that is now in the care of the gardening charity Perennial. We have seen this many times in magazines and TV gardening shows so were keen to visit. Here are a few photos I took on the day:
A panoramic view at the end of the Yew Garden showing 3 statues (Nymphaeum)A view of the Howdah Court near the houseA panoramic view of the house from the Howdah CourtA view of the house above the gardens from the raised platform of The BelvedereThe Silver Jubilee Garden from the top of the stepsAnother view of the Howdah Court from the opposite direction
This was an interesting garden to visit but, to be honest, it did not live up to the expectations we had.
