Autumn Visit to Cholmondeley Castle Gardens: #5from7photo

Friday was a glorious, sunny, autumn day. We decided to visit, for the first time in over 2 years, Cholmondeley Castle Gardens. We were not disappointed. With the autumn colour, blue sky (and few visitors!) we had a great day there. The light lunch in the café was pleasant too. Here are a selection of photos taken on the day:

The colour of autumn leaves against a blue sky – yellow, gold and red.
A view of the castle from the gardens
A view across the small lake
A panoramic view underneath a spreading old oak tree
A panoramic view of the Chapel within its own grounds

All these photos were taken hand-held on a compact camera.
