Wollerton Old Hall Garden

A few weeks ago we visited the garden at Wollerton Old Hall (near Market Drayton in Shropshire) which appears to be a private garden around a beautiful, historic building. This was a pleasant place to visit with interesting gardens and the amazing old hall. We visited in the morning so stayed for lunch in the cafe. We had a very nice meal there although it was a bit more expensive than most gardens we visit. Here are some photos of the garden and house from our visit:

When I photograph gardens I do like to show detail within the garden:

It was quite busy in the garden so I was lucky to photograph this seat without anyone sitting on it:

A garden that is worth visiting again…
