TransAfrica 1975: Morocco part 1

I am continuing to review the photos of my 1975 Trans-Africa trip. This post shows a selection of images of the journey through Morocco in March 1975:

We motored past Casablanca as we didn’t like the look of the place:

Looking back at Casablanca as we motored past.

We then headed for Marrakesh arriving on 26th March. We stayed a couple of days:

At the campsite in Marrakesh we met a couple of German lads who we had seen earlier in the trip. This is Winfred entertaining us one evening:

One evening at the campsite: Lynda, Mohammed (from a market stall), Bob washing up, Pete, Brian and Steve C. with Winfred on the guitar.

The next leg will take us into the Atlas Mountains.
