A foggy start to the day for a tree

Yesterday was foggy first thing with the weather gradually clearing to blue sky before light cloud took over. Here are 4 photos, taken on the same day, of the tree I can view from my garden – these have been put together with ‘before/after’ sliders. First up shows the foggy start compared to the light mist as the fog started to clear:

The tree barely visible in the fog
The fog has cleared to a light mist with a blue sky

Next we have the misty view compared to the clear blue sky:

The fog has cleared to a light mist with a blue sky
After the fog has cleared – clear blue sky

Finally, we compare the clear blue sky to the light cloud that formed later in the day:

After the fog has cleared – clear blue sky
Afternoon with a light cloud background
