A Tulip: Variations in presenting a single image

I like to experiment: some experiments work out better than others, some just don’t work but they are all interesting as I learn from the experience. This set of photos are all variations of different ways I have tried to process this single image of a tulip.

First is the original photo using a comparison slider (drag the vertical line from side to side) to view a version processed with my ‘kL2’ art effect:

This next pair (alignment is not perfect as they were processed separately) shows a different ‘linear projection’ of the image with my ‘kl2’ art effect:

This next pair shows a ‘sphere projection’. Again the alignment is not perfect as they were processed independently. The ‘kl2’ effect is on the right:

The final photo is an expanded version of the ‘kl2’ version of the ‘sphere projection’

An interesting experiment with some different looking photos. This is worth experiment some more…
