Park Hall Country Park – Visit 2

We recently made our second visit the Park Hall CP – a country park on the eastern outskirts of the city of Stoke-on-Trent. For this visit autumn was starting to get into stride with leaves changing and fungi growing in profusion. Here are a few images taken on this visit at the end of October:

Park Hall Country Park: A view over what was Hulme Quarry and is now an SSSI*
Park Hall Country Park: A path though some woods
Park Hall Country Park: The bare bones of a tree showing its contorted branches
Park Hall Country Park: A scene near ‘Top Pool’
Park Hall Country Park: Autumnal colours of rose leaves

There were wonderful colours emerging, some plants being more autumnal than others…
