I like to experiment. For this experiment I thought I would try ‘sphereising’ an image that had already been ‘sphereised’ just to see what happens. This gave me a 2 Pole effect. The first example is a kaleidoscope image that I will show (using the comparison slider) with the single sphere effect:


Next I will show 2 versions of the double sphereised image. The results are quite abstract:


This next pair of images show the single and double versions of the same base image:


Finally a single image zoomed to show both poles on a single image:

With hindsight, although I have double sphereised this image, it looks more like a triple pole! You just don’t know what you are going to get until you do it…
