U.V Fluorescence Rocks:
Amethyst geode in Daylight flash and UV lighting
I have started to try out Ultra Violet fluorescence on a number of rocks and stones that I have. Most don’t fluoresce but a few do including an Amethyst geode that I bought earlier this year. Here are some initial photos I have taken. They are not perfect – I am still learning how best to do this. I am using a comparison slider to show different images side-by-side:

Blending the 2 images together gives a slightly different look:
Amethyst geode showing UV fluorescence blended with a daylight version
But the exterior of the geode was also interesting:
An interesting exercise although I need to work on depth of field…
