Infra-red Photos of the Moorland near Bacup

Earlier this week we visited the area near Bacup around the Lancashire-Yorkshire border. I took my infra-red camera with me to take some photos on this hot summer’s day. Here are some of the results:

Infra-red view of two cottages high in the hills
Infra-red view of the astronomy centre and wind turbines
From higher up: Infra-red view of the astronomy centre and wind turbines with grazing sheep
Infra-red view of the two cottages in their setting
Panoramic view across the road to South Woodlands

One thing I do like about infra-red photography is the way the clouds get emphasised..
