Tree 1 year project – part 1

I have started a project to photograph a tree throughout the year and merge the photographs into a single image. I did something similar a few years ago when I lived on a smallholding alongside a farmer’s wheat field and photographed it through the year from the roof of a shed – this is shown below:

Now we live on the edge of a 60’s built estate and from one corner of the garden I have a view over a farmer’s field to some trees. So here was one of the trees a couple of weeks ago:

Since then the crop has started to grow on the field – this was taken today:

The first stage is to merge the two photos into a single image:

Then, as the season progresses, I shall add more views to this image.
