Second Robin Nesting (updated)

We were aware of a second robin nesting in our garden so, once the first set had fledged, I moved the (cheap) wildlife camera to our patio where this pair were nesting in an exposed plant pot under a fern (that we couldn’t water for fear of damaging the nest). Here are a selection of the photos:

robing flying to nestThis is a lucky shot – it shows the robin flying to the nest. I haven’t cropped this version of the image as it shows the context of the nest which is at the rear of this plant pot. You can see that the fern has all but died by comparing the brown frizzled leaves against the vibrant green of the one next to it.

Cropping this image shows the detail of the robin – very lucky considering the camera only takes 1 photo every 6 seconds:
