Visits to gardens in East Anglia – East Ruston Old Vicarage

East Ruston Old Vicarage in North Norfolk is a favourite garden – we visited it a lot when we lived in Norfolk and I have 4 large photographs hanging in the two tea rooms – I am pleased about that as it is over 7 years since we left Norfolk. We were also pleased that the lady in the entrance kiosk recognised us and we had a nice chat with her.

This was the second garden of our visit last month to East Anglia. As always, there are aspects of the garden that were wonderful. These photos are a selection from those I took on this visit:

East Ruston Old Vicarage Gardens: Plenty of colour in one of the borders
A purple plant in a greenhouse. Possibly ‘Strobilanthes auriculata Nees’ Persian shield
A view along the dahlia walk by the Jubilee Walled Garden
A pink Dahlia – this colour really stood out
A view of the ‘Sunk’ garden
A view to the house along a path with borders full of plants both sides

This is always a ‘must see’ garden when we are in the area.
