Our Garden in June

After a cold start, our garden is beginning to grow:

veg gardenIt has been a cold, windy spring. This has had two effects for me: 1) The cold has caused the garden to develop later than usual, and 2) The wind has made photography difficult. The above photo was taken on a sunny day during a lull in the wind. I only managed to get a few photos taken before it became too blustery for my style of photography.

The above image is a view of the northern end of the vegetable garden and shows the onions and potatoes growing. This is a blend of 6 images, so you can understand the need for a still day otherwise there is too much movement between each image.

The fruit bushes are coming along fine though:

The next still day was a few days later, but it was quite cloudy:

You can see the other photos in the Garden Gallery, with the panoramic images in the Panorama Gallery.
