RHS Bridgewater garden in Infra-red

On Thursday we travelled to the RHS Bridgwater garden which is not too far from where we live (about an hour’s drive away). I took my infra-red converted camera with me to see what images I could come up with. I am still having a bit of trouble focussing the lens so a couple are a bit soft, but generally I am satisfied with the results. Here is a selection:

Garden Cottage
The Bothy. This was taken using panorama techniques because the lens didn’t have a wide enough angle of view
This view of Ellesmere Lake was taken using panorama techniques vertically to get the height
A tranquil view of the lake

I am still learning what works and what doesn’t with Infra-red photography. What is becoming ever more apparent is that pretty much all foliage and flowers appear white.

I do need to get a wider angle lens though…
