Flowers indoors: Using a sphere effect

For this post I am showing some fairly plain, close-up photos of flowers taken indoors and using my ‘sphere’ technique to transform the images into a circular ball or sphere. These are all taken using available light against a black background.

I am using a comparison slider to show the starting image behind the ‘sphere projection’ – drag the slider to reveal the other image.

First I have some Fritillaria:

An interesting exercise – I wasn’t sure how the black background would turn out…
