Starting with Infra-Red Photography Part 13: Panoramic comparison – IR v Colour

Whilst out for a walk with my IR camera yesterday I took a few panoramic views. For one of them, I also I took a normal colour panorama. After processing them on my computer I tried a before/after type comparison. The alignment is far from perfect due to using different cameras and lenses, the photos being hand-held and the way the stitching software creates the final images.

However they weren’t too bad. Here is the result:

Colour Panorama
Infra-red panorama

Colour panorama
IR panorama

The reason I took this view is because, if I have read the maps correctly, It shows the route of HS2 passing close to where I live.
