Walking around our little orchard I saw a hole in the ground close to the fence with a neighbour. So, suspecting it might be rats, I set up the wildlife camera:
I was right – this shows a rat emerging from the hole. The next 3 photos are from the 6-second interval time-lapse sequence:
It may be coincidence, but this is by our neighbours chicken run and he has just started putting the chickens feed inside the hut rather than leaving it outside. I suspect they are looking for another source of food…
