Starting with Infra-Red Photography Part 12: Some garden views

I am still learning how to use an IR converted camera. Today was a fine day so I tried some views from within the garden and a view from the garden to see what works and what doesn’t:

An ornament in the garden – I was struggling to find contrast

Not only was the foliage of the garden plants showing as quite white, the flowers were as well – even blue and darker shades as you can see below:

These flowers were actually a dark magenta but here the are a similar tone to the green stems
Barbed wire just a couple of metres from our garden fence
A little further showing more barbed wire

I like both these views because the background, although blurred, gives context to the images. Not perfect but I am learning as I go.
