Autumn visit to the gardens at East Ruston Old Vicarage

On Saturday we paid another visit to these superb gardens. Here I show a selection of the photos taken (there are also some ‘Little Planet’ images shown in the previous post):

erov kings walk

This is my favourite of the day – the start of the King’s Walk by the house – the planting is just amazing.

And this is my second favourite:

erov woodland view

We were following one of the paths in the woodland garden when this tree, illuminated by the low sun, came into view – it was stunning. Even the best photograph cannot do it justice.

This is a view of the house from the Dutch Garden

In my opinion, the Dutch garden is one of the best gardens here although the competition is stiff as there are just so many excellent gardens.

Finally, a little detail that is often overlooked: a lamp by the ‘front door’
