#5from7photo – Week 5: Garden record and comparison images

I have been taking record shots of the gardens of the different properties we have lived in since the mid 1990’s (and before that just ‘snapshots’ of the garden). For most of the time, this includes ‘set’ shots from fixed locations as well as general views showing the work we have done and how the garden changes. Now that I am trying to do comparison (Before/After) images I need to be a bit more precise in what I do. Here is a selection of this month’s views from a fixed location, along with some before/after attempts:

The garden from a ‘fixed’ location on a cold, frosty morning after most of the snow had thawed. 7th January

Note that all these have been carefully aligned for the before/after type of comparisons.

From the same location, this shows the garden after a light shower of snow. 23rd January.
