I have finished rebuilding the Garden Gallery:
This is an image from the gallery showing one of the flower beds. This image is a standard format one but I have also started to put panoramic images in this gallery:
A lot of the restructuring was taken with the photos of the gardens at Orchard View. Taking a similar approach to that I took with the gardens at East Ruston Old Vicarage, I sorted the photos into different views within each garden. That way you can see how any view of the garden develops over time. So far I go back to the start of 2012 but I shall look at earlier photos to see if I can utilise any of these.
I have also worked with some of the other sections of the gallery, such as the flower gallery.
This actually looks good at a large size; with this image, along with some others, I have created interactive views such as this:
With these views you can zoom in and out and pan around the image. A lot of work is involved but I think it has been worth it. Now I have a load of photos that I need to add to the gallery…
