An NGS Garden near Bronant, Wales: Bwlch y Geuffordd

Last month, during our short visit to Mid-Wales, we visited Bwlch y Geuffordd Gardens (near Bronant) which are open as part of the charitable National Gardens Scheme. We last visited these gardens in 2007 when we lived nearby.

These are pleasant, and quite extensive, gardens which are a bit quirky in places which adds to the charm of the place. Below I show some views of the garden:

A stream running through the garden with a Buddha in the background
A panoramic view of the pond

Below I show a panoramic view inside a circular hut. The round circles are from green glass bottles which are used to form the walls. This has been stitched together from 4 photographs. This stitched view took some time to get right as the stitching software was quite confused by the repetitive nature of the pattern. I first did another version from a different set of photos but that didn’t work out quite as well.
