Camera Club Triptych competition: 3 of a Kind

This week we held another on-line competition ‘3 of a Kind’. This was for a Triptych of 3 linked images. Although my two entries had good comments from the judge, they did not get placed. Here are the 2 panels that I submitted with a summary of the judges comments:

‘Wheat field through to harvest’

Judges comments: Strangely compelling; Like the differing height of the panels from top to bottom; Tells a nice story; deceptively clever; A very nice looking panel.

‘A tree – 3 parts of spring’

Judges comments: It raised a smile; simple idea nicely executed; Very well thought through; Liked it a lot; Tones match on the tree.

This was the second version: Here is the first which was not allowed by the club as it couldn’t be reproduced in print:

‘Tree through spring’

This took me ages to get the bleed-through right on the two vertical dividers – and these are part of the first image so it was still 3 images!
