Last month I visited Shrewsbury to try some ‘then-and-now’ views. This is of Butchers Row. Despite having a copy of the 1930’s photo in my hand, it appears I am not in the right place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because of the age of the photo, I believe that it is out of copyright but if I am wrong and you are the copyright holder then please contact me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A few days ago I had another, unexpected, visit to this road. I wasn’t prepared with a copy of the scene but I did have my camera with me. For this I tried shots taken further back. This is the best I could do with the images I took. As you can see, I have had to distort the modern view quite a bit to get points to align:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
