On our way to visit some relatives, we broke the journey by visiting the National Trust property of Hughenden – a country house and estate. This place shows off the beauty of an accessible English landscape.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It was a glorious sunny, spring day although the strong light made the photos quite contrasty but I think I have managed to control this in the processing. This is a selection of some of the photos taken on the day:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Walking from the car park to the house you get views like this one showing a church within the estate grounds and the gentle rolling hills behind – Wonderful:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The inside was as impressive as the outside. This view was taken hand-held:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
