Recently we went to our local National Trust property of Shugborough. This visit was at the time that the daffodils were finishing (although some varieties were still in full bloom) and the tulips were taking over. The landscape was reflecting the glories of an English spring with the leaves of the trees showing various shades of yellow or green as they opened.
