On our last day in East Anglia we visited the market town of Saffron Walden. As it was market day and a fine Saturday morning it was very busy. This meant I couldn’t get clean photographs of the many old buildings that show some of the history of the place. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

But, on the way back to the car park I did managed this one building – I was attracted by the colour:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This was taken during a gap in the traffic, helped by the road works further down. Although I would have liked to be closer, this was the best of a series due to the almost continuous traffic passing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

However with a bit of judicious cropping and some editing I ended up with something respectable. Here are 2 versions, one of which had some of the ‘furniture’ removed, shown with a comparison slider:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
