It was a beautiful sunny spring day &#8211; one of an unusual series of fine days for this time of the year. This enabled me to take a variety of photos around the extensive grounds of the estate. Here are a few:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following one of the paths through the small woodland we came across this stand of silver birch trees where the leaf buds were just starting to open.
