As is usual with the National Trust the Hall, grounds and gardens were well maintained as was the further estate. Near the start of the walk is a collection of old oak trees estimated to be between 800 and 1000 years old. Treebeard lives! (a &#8216;Lord of the Rings&#8217; reference)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This final panoramic view shows a line of trees coming into leaf.
