A few weeks ago we visited the National Trust property of Shugborough when the crocuses were showing in the walled garden. I took a few photos of them as the colours were just outstanding. There is also an impressive copper beech tree that I took to show (later) as a comparison between the leafless winter and the autumn golden colours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

First, I will show an image dump of the photos I took – this is an ‘out of the camera’ set before any selection and processing. Note that there are 3 versions of each – I use exposure bracketing as standard:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
