I’ve been catching up on some infra-red photos that I took at Ynyslas last year. These were taken on the beach at Ynyslas which is a nature reserve north of Aberystwyth on the Cardigan Bay coastline of Wales. This is on the southern side of the estuary of the River Dovey. Here is a selection:<\/p>\n\n\n

There was some driftwood on the beach. I show both the landscape and portrait modes of this piece as I couldn’t make my mind up as to which is the best:<\/p>\n\n\n

The beach, although mostly sand, does have a ribbon of stones and pebbles running along it. Here I tried to show an odd white piece amongst the mostly grey stones. A lot of the rock strata that is more visible at Aberystwyth is of a grey material although the beach here is yellow sand, not grey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
