Branston Leas Nature Reserve is a small reserve north of Tucklesholme on the bank of the River Trent; this is run by Staffordshire Wildlife Trust. I was there with a couple of other photography volunteers and our supervisor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This visit was more of a scoping exercise rather than a full photography visit for a virtual tour. I took some panoramic views, landscapes and detailed images. Here is a selection:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wild swimmers in the river: seeing them showed how shallow the river was in places, and how fast it was flowing – they didn’t need to swim, just drift in the current.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n
