I think it is desirable to take photos of what is going on around you – even if these are what are often called, disparagingly, record shots. Aren’t most photos record shots in some manner? My wife is the gardener in our family and she has been working clearing the garden in the fine weather we have recently had. So I have been photographing both the progress in the garden and how it looks in different weather conditions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These views, for us, show what has been done – we keep records (in albums of photos) going back nearly 30 years. Finally:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
