I have processed 3 of the images from my previous post so they can be used for a ‘before and after’ effect using a comparison slider. Most of this processing was just adjusting the aligment of the images so the position of the trees matches each other. This is not perfect as the tree is a living, moving object; it bends in the wind, drops under load be it snow or leaves, and it grows!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are the results. The first shows the tree on 24th December and on 28th December after about 3 inches of snow overnight:<\/p>\n\n\n

The second comparison shows the tree on 30th December (as above) and on the following day whilst it was snowing (there had been a partial thaw the day before):<\/p>\n\n\n
