I have been trying out different techniques of creating Little Planet panoramas. I have started to do this as the one Little Planet I have produced has created a lot of interest. So here are some of my trials:-<\/p>\n

This is a version produced using HDR processing techniques. The colour looks fine but there are problems with movement of the tree branches.\u00a0 One thing I have learnt is to try and avoid overhanging branches – some of this has been cropped out. The hole in the bottom is because the stitching software rejected the photos of the ground where the tripod stood.<\/p>\n

\"Little<\/a>For this one I have separately processed the ground and patched it in – not very successfully:<\/p>\n

\"Little<\/a>And here is a similar image but processed using single, not HDR, processing. Not too bad but I prefer the HDR versions. The patched area is more distinctive:<\/p>\n

\"Little<\/a><\/p>\n

Always one to experiment, I tried a view inside the polytunnel. This time the stitching software accepted the ground images and produced a ‘hole-free’ image:-<\/p>\n

This one is a single-exposure version – lots of brown mud:<\/p>\n

\"Little<\/a>And this one had the images processed using HDR techniques:<\/p>\n

With this one I used the stitching software to straighten up the doors a little.<\/p>\n
