<\/a>In this view, taken in the early evening but when it was dark (hence the monochrome image illuminated by the infra-red lights), the male (cock) bird was still active and visiting the female (hen) bird.<\/p>\nI monitored the full set of images taken during the night and discovered that during the middle of the night the hen flew off the nest for about 50 minutes.
