This year I have been making use of a fish-eye lens that I purchased earlier in the year:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/E14_6877p1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-3884\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/E14_6877p1-600x324.jpg\" alt=\"vegetable garden\" width=\"600\" height=\"324\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/E14_6877p1-600x324.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/E14_6877p1-300x162.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/E14_6877p1.jpg 1994w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 709px) 85vw, (max-width: 909px) 67vw, (max-width: 984px) 61vw, (max-width: 1362px) 45vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In an image like this, the distortion produced by a fish-eye lens isn&#8217;t too noticeable &#8211; most people wouldn&#8217;t see anything amiss with such an image (although gardeners would be aghast at the weeds &#8211; my excuse is that I have had a busy August and September and weeding has had to stop. My panorama stitching software can fix this but it needs a minimum of two images &#8211; you can&#8217;t stitch just one photo!
