This enables me to get on close (I am only a few inches away from the flowers in the above image) yet still show the surroundings to give context to the planting. The fish-eye lens does distort the view quite significantly, but it is not too noticeable in the above image.<\/p>\n<p>However, in this view the distortion is noticeable:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/E14_6797p1.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-3875\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/E14_6797p1-600x400.jpg\" alt=\"Leycesteria formosa - 2a\" width=\"600\" height=\"400\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/E14_6797p1-600x400.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/E14_6797p1-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/E14_6797p1.jpg 930w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 709px) 85vw, (max-width: 909px) 67vw, (max-width: 984px) 61vw, (max-width: 1362px) 45vw, 600px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>You can see the edge of the trellis on the left of this photo &#8211; it has quite a distinct curve.
