Although many photographs stitched together quite well to form the panoramas, some had errors varying from fairly minor to quite distinct errors; for these I had to create manual links (control points) between the individual images within the software that I use.<\/p>\n<p>The first example that I show is a view of the Dutch Garden looking towards the orangery and house. Although some of the foreground is in distinct shadow, I believe this to be well controlled. If you examine this view in more detail in the interactive VR you will see a wealth of detail such as the finely clipped hedges, topiary and the grasses and dahlias in the beds.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/vr\/vr-panos-erov2013\/vr-output\/E13_6994x5p1vr_1.html\" height=\"580px\" width=\"100%\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><br \/>\nTry the full screen mode (use the button on the right) &#8211; it is quite impressive!<\/p>\n<p>In this second view I show the Rose Garden (previously known as the Sunk Garden)<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-3335\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/2013\/09\/panorama-photography-at-east-ruston-old-vicarage-part-2\/e13_7195x7p1vr\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-3335\" title=\"E13_7195x7p1vr\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/E13_7195x7p1vr-600x228.jpg\" alt=\"the rose (or sunk) garden\" width=\"600\" height=\"228\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/E13_7195x7p1vr-600x228.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/E13_7195x7p1vr-300x114.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/E13_7195x7p1vr.jpg 787w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 709px) 85vw, (max-width: 909px) 67vw, (max-width: 984px) 61vw, (max-width: 1362px) 45vw, 600px\" \/><\/a>This is a nice wide, almost symmetrical, view of this pleasant space &#8211; the angle of view is over 180 degrees so it is looking slightly behind the plane of the camera. I was fortunate with the weather on this visit with the fine blue sky although the wind was a bit breezy. However I do think the movement caused by the wind has been controlled.<\/p>\n<p>This 3rd view shows the exotic garden from the arbour at one end.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-3336\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/2013\/09\/panorama-photography-at-east-ruston-old-vicarage-part-2\/e13_7216x6p1vr\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-3336\" title=\"E13_7216x6p1vr\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/E13_7216x6p1vr-600x283.jpg\" alt=\"exotic garden\" width=\"600\" height=\"283\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/E13_7216x6p1vr-600x283.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/E13_7216x6p1vr-300x141.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/E13_7216x6p1vr.jpg 634w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 709px) 85vw, (max-width: 909px) 67vw, (max-width: 984px) 61vw, (max-width: 1362px) 45vw, 600px\" \/><\/a>Here, although the view is wide, it is not as wide as the previous view being just (!) 140 degrees. The wooden rail that you can see in the lower corners is a straight piece of wood: it is the wide perspective that causes it to bend. Strangely, in the interactive view it straightens out.<\/p>\n<p>You can see the full set of panoramic photos in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/panoramas-2\/erov\/erov2013\/index.php\">panoramas gallery<\/a>.
