Consulting a friend, he suggested it might be a caused by light reflecting in the camera adaptor tube. This sounded realistic so I painted the inside of the tube with blackboard paint. But I wanted to try something different &#8211; not capture and mount a specimen on a slide, but to take a live specimen on its web.
