My wife has a few of these scattered about but this one seemed to stand out more. I feel the photograph looks almost three dimensional &#8211; both the colour and the focussing makes the flowers really stand out from the background &#8211; I was quite pleased with this image.<\/p>\n<p>This next image shows a Lobelia:<a rel=\"attachment wp-att-2840\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/2012\/09\/august-garden-detail\/e12_4715p1\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2840\" title=\"E12_4715p1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/E12_4715p1.jpg\" alt=\"Lobelia\" width=\"399\" height=\"600\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/E12_4715p1.jpg 399w, https:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/E12_4715p1-199x300.jpg 199w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 399px) 85vw, 399px\" \/><\/a>I have chosen this for the delicate shades of pink of the flowers, and the fact that they contrast well with the green foliage. As with the previous photo, I think that they stand out from the background although not so markedly. It is nice that there is still plenty of colour around despite the poor weather of this summer.<\/p>\n<p>Finally I am showing Rudbeckia:<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-2842\" href=\"http:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/2012\/09\/august-garden-detail\/e12_4736p1\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-2842\" title=\"E12_4736p1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/E12_4736p1-600x396.jpg\" alt=\"Rudbeckia\" width=\"600\" height=\"396\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/E12_4736p1-600x396.jpg 600w, https:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/E12_4736p1-300x198.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.pmstudios.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/E12_4736p1.jpg 800w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 709px) 85vw, (max-width: 909px) 67vw, (max-width: 984px) 61vw, (max-width: 1362px) 45vw, 600px\" \/><\/a>For this I deliberately took the photo from a low viewpoint so as to get the high cloud of the sky as the background.
