After leaving Nigeria we then travelled through Cameroon – this part of the trip covering the period 28th May 1975 to 1st June 1975. On the 28th May we were in the Waza National Park. Although we were disappointed with not seeing some of the iconic species we did see some lions up close:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Land Rover got stuck in some mud at Waza. This was moved with the help of another Land Rover:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The other Land Rover itself got stuck later on where we returned the favour:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This Land Rover was driven by a Dutch couple, Dick and Martina. We met them several times on this part of the trip and they were very generous to us. After Waza we drove through some amazing Cameroon countryside:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
