This is a private garden open to the public. They are near Hergest Ridge, known for being the name of the second album from Mike Oldfield of Tubular Bells fame. This place wasn’t just formal gardens but included woodland walks and stunning views over the Herefordshire countryside. This is a selection of the photos taken on this visit in early June:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The house is an impressive building. In this view of the house you can just see a ground floor window which is the tea room:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
