I either: 1) Use a full &#8216;sphere&#8217; camera to produce 360\u00b0x180\u00b0 images, or 2) Take a sequence of images to produce a 360\u00b0 view. Depending on context, this may or may not be x180\u00b0 (all the way up and down as well as all the way round).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Below I show a couple of examples, one by each method:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nearscape Panoramas:<\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>The houseplant <em><strong>Nearscape<\/strong><\/em> (below) is based on a single full 360 degree panorama taken with a compact camera on a home-made panorama mount. The image was stitched from 14 separate photos:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"\/vr\/example-tours\/L20_0501-houseplants-conservatory\/L20_0501r1x14j1_1.html\" data-mce-fragment=\"1\" width=\"750px\" height=\"580px\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe>\n\n\n\n<p>This indoor view of a conservatory (below) is a single full sphere (360&#215;180 degree) panorama was taken with a basic &#8216;sphere&#8217; camera that takes the full panorama in one go.
