Late winter walk around Tucklesholme Nature Reserve

This past week we went for a walk around the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust Reserve of Tucklesholme. As I am a volunteer photographer on the ‘Transforming The Trent Valley’ project I took my camera so I could add photos to the photo gallery and create a virtual walk video.

The most noticeable differences from my last visit, apart from the mud and signs of flooding, was the work done at the north of the site connecting the river to its floodplain and the lakes.

Below I show a selection of the panoramic photos of this work. The full set can be seen in the TTTV gallery here: https://www.thetrentvalley.org.uk/gallery/Paul%20Morris/20240229%20tucklesholme/index.html and the virtual walk video on Youtube:
