Dorothy Clive Garden – an early autumn visit

A few days ago we paid another visit to this garden which is not too far from where we live. It was a very pleasant, sunny autumn day where some of the colour in the trees was beautiful. I was taking photos in both colour and infra-red as I wanted to see how autumn looks in infra-red (IR).

Below I am showing 3 views and for each there is a ‘slider’ for viewing the colour and IR images side-by-side. Below the slider is a single combined image made from the colour and IR versions – I am trying out different techniques to see what works best. As two different cameras with different lenses were used, the registration between pairs of photos isn’t perfect, but it is good enough for the comparisons:
