The photography of Paul L.G. Morris
A versatile and creative freelance photographer:
"The unusual and the overlooked".
Paul's Photography:
Paul Morris is a photographer who is able to complement his photographs with written articles. He tries to be different in that he is prepared to photograph the unusual and overlooked which helps to create a portfolio of pictures that are different from the norm. It is hoped that this site and its gallery gives some indication of the versatility and skill Paul exhibits in his photography. If you have any queries, want to use an image, or would just like to purchase a print, please contact Paul using the contact page on this site.
In addition, Paul writes a regular blog about his photography, writing at least once a week. In the blog he discusses the opportunities of taking photographs, the techniques used, the successes and the failures. Feel free to visit the blog and add appropriate comments.
Paul's Photography can be categorised into the following broad areas which are detailed in the Galleries page:
The Natural Environment:
Living on a smallholding with a ‘bit of land’ that has always been organic (in principle – it is not registered as produce is not sold), there are boundless opportunities for photographing aspects of the natural environment. These can be flowers, fungi, hedgerows – even insects. For these Paul makes extensive use of his macro lens enabling good close-up images to be obtained.
Featured Photographs Gallery:
This includes the current and previous 'Picture of the Week' that were shown on the home page (This is available as a Google Gadget for your website or iGoogle page).
Smallholding Picture Gallery:
Living on a smallholding gives Paul the opportunity to take many photographs of the animals and other subjects about the property; this gallery shows a selection of images taken over the past few years.
Images from Wales Gallery:
You cannot live in this part of the country without appreciating the countryside and other features. This gallery shows Paul's personal record of Wales.
Miscellaneous Images:
This gallery is a potpourri of other photographs that are not categorised elsewhere. They can be the result of trips away from the home ‘territory’, or images suitable for a stock library.
